    • Implemented and tested machine learning algorithms in real-life scenarios

  2. Computer Vision Researcher

    • Researched and tested new DL architectures to estimate the robot 3D pose from single RGB images
    • Designed a pipeline in Blender to generate realistic-looking images with 3D ground truth

    • Coded an object detection algorithm to locate and identify different types of objects on a conveyor
    • Designed a simulation environment to validate the results in a software-in-the-loop fashion

    • Built from scratch a simulation environment of EELS, a robotic snake, based on ROS and Gazebo
    • Implemented a bayesian hyperparameters framework to maximize movement and tested in 100k+ scenarios
